Cleveland Clinic Akron General Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program - Akron, OH

Cleveland Clinic Akron General Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency Program located in Akron, Ohio is seeking to fill a PGY-2 categorical resident position available on July 1, 2026.

Cleveland Clinic Akron General is a strong, community-based, university-affiliated program. We are seeking a resident who is motivated, self-reflective, and a collaborative team player. Eligible applicants must currently be promoted to a PGY-2 position within an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency program and be in good standing.

  • ResidencyCAS application including personal statement, MSPE, and transcript
  • USMLE/COMLEX Scores
  • ACGME Case Log
  • CREOG scores PGY-1
  • Summary of the rotations you have completed including dates
  • Statement of Interest
  • A letter from your Program Director with verification that you are in good standing, work well in teams, and that they will release you from your current contract
  • Two additional letters of recommendation from faculty who have worked with you during your first year of training

St. John’s Episcopal Hospital- South Shore Program - Far Rockaway, NY

PGY-2 Categorical Resident Position – OB-GYN (2026–2027)


The Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital is seeking to fill a PGY-2 categorical resident position for the 2026–2027 academic year. We welcome applications from candidates with prior training in Obstetrics and Gynecology, including those who have completed one or more years in a preliminary OB-GYN position and are seeking transition into a categorical role.

  • USMLE/COMLEX Scores Reports
  • (Step 1, 2 and 3 or COMLEX I,II and III,
  • In-Service Training Exam Scores [CREOG] (from current program)
  • Previous ResidencyCas application
  • Cover letter to include reason for departure from current program
  • Letter of Good Standing from your Program Director
  • Statement willing to release you from your current training contract
  • List of Completed Rotations to Date. (On Letterhead from your Program Director)
  • Most recent mid-year or summative evaluation form
  • Most recent Milestone Evaluations from Current Residency Program
  • At least one letter of recommendation from current supervising faculty member [other than program director]
  • Current CV
  • Copy of Medical School Diploma
  • Up to date ACGME Procedure Logs from Current Program
  • Current work authorization i.e. Citizen, permanent resident, work permit or asylee


Residents should send all required documentation as soon as possible, as applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
