Session Details
June 2: E/M for Antepartum Care
It’s time for obstetric care professionals to rethink how E/M codes translate to the pregnant patient you’re caring for. In this town hall, we covered issues such as how to characterize a pregnancy that is not an acute or chronic condition, documentation of risk, and review ACOG recommendations for the transition period. Watch this session or listen to the podcast for answers to this question and more about billing for prenatal care!
June 16: Labor Management and Delivery
For the first time ever, obstetric care professionals will have CPT codes to bill for labor management services—but what does that mean for admitting services, multiple days of labor, transfer of care, and documentation? Find out at our June 16 town hall! Register, submit your questions, and tune in to get the scoop on these new codes.

June 30: Procedures and Postpartum
The new delivery codes may seem familiar, but there are some specific nuances that obstetric care professionals should be aware of. What is the difference between primary and repeat cesarean? Why is there a new code for hysterectomy after cesarean delivery? What is the uterine tamponade code for? Register for our third and final town hall to get your questions answered!
